That’s what I want to know.

To just let go and grow?
Why is it so easy
To turn away from How?
Why is it so easy
To live right here in Now?
Why is it so easy
To savor every moment?
Why is it so easy
To reach enlightenment?
Why is it so easy
To sit and dwell in doubt?
When it is so easy
To turn your life about.
Why is it so easy
To remain a queen of sorrow?
When it is so easy
to have a grand tomorrow.
Why is it so easy,
To always live in fear?
When it is so easy
To find that love is near.
Why is it so easy
To think a nasty thought?
When it is so easy
To let happiness be caught.
So, I ask once more,
Why is it so easy?
