Spring
It’s been a while since I shared any news. Life has been hectic for me as it has been for everyone.
I am still working on the sculpted faces for my book, Children of Ha’trae, so publication has been delayed. Susana Belagureo is working on completing a map for the book. Thank you, Susana!
I will also be publishing Farther Beyond the Fine Line, another anthology of short stories. This will be published before Children of Ha’Trae, unless I get really busy painting my faces.
The Great news is that I have been juried into the San Diego Sculptors Guild. I now have a piece, Evangelina, for sale at the Artist’s Village in Balboa Park. It will be joined by Renewal, as soon as that piece is fired and finished.
It is always amazing to me how a person’s life can change. You can be chugging along on one path and then find yourself taking a detour into unknown territory and loving it. Unplanned, unknown, and utterly exciting!
I do hold the thought for all of you that this spring will open up new territiories to be expolored as delightful as the ones I am discovering.
Namaste, Kathryn
