Today, we are still in the post-eclipse energy that will continue for the next two weeks. The energy from this past Monday’s Lunar Eclipse was felt more intensely because it was a Super Full Moon, or in other words, the moon was closer to Earth than most Full Moons.
As with all Lunar Eclipses this one is about culmination or endings. There are unexpected, unpredictable events following a Lunar Eclipse along with “unnatural acts.” Everything may seem out-of-proportion. There may be moments of fate or fated events. Emotions are closer to the surface, causing feelings of powerlessness resulting in controlling behavior and/or overly emotional reactions. But Eclipses also can bring important contacts into your life along with removing people from it.
All in all, Eclipses are interesting little shake-ups in our lives with the ability to throw us off balance, if we allow it. Remember we are always the directors, the CEOs, the dictators (at times), of our lives.
Last Monday also began the Celtic Tree Moon of Rowan, a tree dedicated to Thor, the god of Thunder. Rowan trees were planted as protection around farms in Northern Europe for the protection Thor would give his trees and to gain his favor. Necklaces of the Rowan beads were worn as protective charms. Some of the other names for Rowan are Whitebeam, Quicken, Witch-wood (from the Anglo-Saxon root, wic meaning pliable), and Mountain Ash.
As it is Friday, Frieda’s Day, I will be at Creative Energy, the PURPLE store, located at 780 W. New Haven Ave., aka Hwy. 192, in Melbourne. The PURPLE peeps, Pamela, Vance, Aimee, and Alyssa will be practicing being pliable by being available for listening to questions and providing answers. The shop has morphed into a Romance-centered vision in preparation for Valentine’s Day. I will be available for readings, only $30 for 30 minutes, from noon until 5:00 pm.
Don’t forget to get tickets to Surfside Playhouse’s, The Crucible, this is the last weekend and there are a few tickets still available for the matinees on Saturday and Sunday, and the evening performances on Friday and Saturday. Check out the website or buy at the door.
That’s it for now. Later! Ciao!
